Seit mittlerweile 10 Jahren bietet das Theater Casino Zug den Fans des Britischen Humor in der Bar & Lounge eine besondere Bühne. Die Reihe English Stand-Up Comedy trainiert regelmässig die Lachmuskeln ihrer Gäste. Egal ob neu in Zug angekommen oder in der Stadt tief verwurzelt, Humor verbindet und lässt sie alle im Theater ein Zuhause finden. Und genauso wie im Publikum Menschen aus der ganzen Welt zusammen kommen, so spüren wir auch die Comedians in aller Welt auf. Hauptsache der Humor ist britisch und we are amused!
Da sich auf leeren Magen nur halb so gut lachen lässt, bieten wir Ihnen die passende kulinarische Begleitung. Für die Pubatmosphäre sorgt unser Gastroteam mit typischen Fish & Chips und einem guten Bier.
Jules O’Brian is in her 50s and the «helpful» advice about what she shouldn’t be doing just keeps on coming. Whether it’s being advised what not to wear; being advised that you’re never too old and it’s never too late; being advised to use magic sticky tape to disguise droopy jowls, or being advised to join dating sites for people who are apparently hurtling towards death, Jules has had enough. Accompanied by (a life-sized cardboard cut-out of) Liz Hurley, and her trusty friend, Pinot, Jules O’Brian is on her own Middle Age Crusade to silence unsolicited advice
Steve Day describes himself as Britains only deaf comedian, if there are any others he hasn't heard. Actually there are a couple of others who have started since he wrote that joke, but it's only a joke after all. For the past twenty years Steve has been performing to huge laughter around the country and abroad, well they tell him the laughter was huge to humour him, he doesn't know either way. Married with five children, Steve has been described as 'warm and witty' by the Scotsman and Revelatory and very funny by The Guardian and has received many other rave reviews whilst performing shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. From 2021-2023 Steve has been the main support on Gary Delaney’s mammoth UK tour, performing at some of the country’s most iconic theatres and some of the dingiest comedy clubs just to balance things out.
