What happens when artificial intelligence is used to help create choreography? The dancers from Compagnie Nicole Seiler deal with this very question in «Human in the loop». Using indications generated by AI ahead of every performance, and which are then performed live each time by the dancers, the artificial process is stripped bare. The audience witnesses an experiment that looks into the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, and which is staged in a way that is full of humour. «Human in the loop» questions the balance of power and the freedom that humans have in a world which is increasing being steered by algorithms.
