Chollerhalle Zug
After the passing of her husband, 78-year-old Frau Gärtner has no desire to live anymore and asks her doctor for something that will give her a way out. But are doctors allowed to assist the suicide of an otherwise healthy person? A thrilling debate on ethics ensues, at the end of which the audience must decide whether Frau Gärtner gets the suicide pill or not. Who does our own life belong to? Who decides whether we live or die? The «God» project goes beyond a theatrical play, with doctor of philosophy Christian Ruch leading a podium discussion after every performance on the subjects of palliative care and assisted suicide, featuring insightful guests.
