Bambi

Bambi the fawn was born in the protection of a thicket in the forest and lovingly raised by her mother. As the woods change over the decades, so does the playful fawn, who grows up into a strong roebuck who will eventually become the eminence grise of the forest, passing on their knowledge. The Vorstadttheater Basel company takes a fresh look at the original novel by Felix Salten and tells a story that goes through the eras – of childhood and becoming an adult, of age and passing, and the eternal circle of life.
