Is this a concert or a manifesto?! «Bodäständix» sees ten young central Swiss musicians come together to demonstrate how folk music can be genuinely celebrated on stage. Folk music is much more than mere concert entertainment – it was made for cafes and town squares, local fetes and for when families and friends get together and play. The ten musicians brought together here, all aged between 25 and 35, used to meet up during the pandemic for coffee and music, and thus the idea for a concert was born. The Theaterhalle in Muotathal was sold out for the premiere and the audience of all ages got to enjoy a concert that was as exceptional as it was traditional.
